WHERE TO BUY YOUR GAS,

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW.

READ ON--

Why didn't George W. think of this?

Gas rationing in the 80's worked even though we grumbled about it.

It might even be good for us!

The Saudis are boycotting American goods.

We should return the favor.

An interesting thought it to boycott their GAS.

Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends.

I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil :
Shell................... 205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco......... 144,332,000 barrels
Exxon /Mobil............... 130,082,000 barrels
Marathon/Speedway. 117,740,000 barrels
Amoco............................62,231,000 barrels

If you do the math at $30/barrel, th ese imports amount to over $18 BILLION!

Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:
Citgo.......................0 barrels
Sunoco...............0 barrels
Conoco...................0 barrels
Sinclair.............0 barrels
BP/Phillips..............0 barrels
Hess..............0 barrels ARC0.0 barrels

All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.

But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers.

It's really simple to do.

Now, don't wimp out at this point... keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!

I'm sending this note to about thirty people.

If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) . and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers!

If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted!

If it goes one level further, you guessed it ..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!

Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people.
How long would all that take?

If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next eight days!

I am not bashing you I want to explain my view on these,
I understand why you dont want to buy your gas from them I belive you are correct and I feel the same why, I dont want to put $$$ in to the hands of the people who are trying kill us, But if we dont get are oil from them were else will we get it from.
We can't get decent amounts of oil from the U.S. why because all the animal and nature tree hugging, hippy, green peace a**holes dont want us to harm the poor mother earth, so we can't get oil from all the oil fields in alaska because of that,
IMO

this is a very good point. personally, i havent bought gas from anywhere other than sonoco for the last 4 years, maybe even longer. I've filled up maybe 10 times total that entire time at other gas stations only because I've been traveling down south where its harder for me to find a sonoco. i use them because they are the only station that pumps 94octane. its all my toys drink.

True but if all these componies who get their oil from the ME start to get their oil from the same place as the componies that dont get their oil from the ME the oil fields will be long dried up, plus I highly doubt that these componies that dont get their oil from ME, even get the same amout of oil as the componies that do get ME oil,

What do you like to do with your toys, I always love going offroading big ttruck with big tires and high octane can't go wrong

i belive they use russian oil, i know there is plenty of it available.

high strung 2.0l 16v turbo on nitrous. can't afford to ping with it, let alone knock.

USSR had more natural oil fields than ANY other continent in the world...we did not develop our oil trades w/ them because of the cold war....now they are dying to have our business...they agree to turn into a democratic nation in hopes we would embrace their commerce and trade...what do we do spit in their face and increase our oil tradeagreements w/ middle eastern nations who are filled w/ american hating scum.....now the soviet Union Nations are talking about returning to communism...WHY? because they laid their heads on the chopping block as a gesture of good faith and we chopped it off....what a country......and even NOW when we KNOW all these middle Eastern nations want to help terrorism we still feel the need to deal w/ them....I say stop being so damn greedy.....I mean try to suffer w/ only a few 100 billion dollars for a few years and start developing oil refineries w/ nations that would actually benefit and hopefully return the acts of good faith to us........I use HESS / Shitgo (yeah they do have crappy gas) and Sunoco ONLY....I refuse to give those terrorist fiddlesticks wads my hard earned cash.......if I offended any middle eastern people I'm sorry...Unless you support any movement to harm my country, then you can go screw yourself w/ a rusty corkscrew....

just a little FYI this just has to do with the energy crisis of fossil fuels.

there is more energy in the coal that is in southern Illinois than all of the oilfields combined in the middle east. one problem, sulfur, no one can burn it with out releasing loads of sulfur into the air, once they figure that out some one will be very rich, but they might as well try cold fusion cause I don't see either one of these happening very soon

I never put anything in my car other than Chevron. Shortly after 9-11 I received that same Email, and I've never been to Chevron since.
America is dependent on foreign oil. We've known for many years that oil is not an infinate resource, yet they've allowed fuel sucking SUVs to dominate the car market.
United States only produces 30% of what it needs, and has to import 70% from foreign sources.
Why didn't we do anything to curb our use?
Because all the oil is in Texas, Alaska and Oklahoma, and all the dipsticks are in Washington.

Damn Rolex you beat me to that line...I got this E-mail at work and didn't have it last nite

FINALLY, SOMEONE EXPLAINED IT SO I CAN UNDERSTAND IT!

Like me, there are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came
to have an oil shortage here in America.
Well, there's a very simple answer......Nobody bothered to check the oil !!
Therefore, we just didn't know we were getting low.
The reason for that is purely geographical. All our oil is in Alaska,
Texas, California, and Oklahoma......

All our dipsticks are in Washington, DC.

I hope this has helped you understand the situation

I still say we should be helping the new democratic nations of the former soviet union develop refining processes.......screw the Saudis......what good would all their oil be if no one bought it from them?
Oh and just another heads up....the whole China thing is also getting WAY ou tof control.....all the companies that are moving production to China are now finding out why China was so willing to let them....they are stealing Intellectual Property from them......I wanted to get a patent for my RC designs (actually looking into the process when I have a final design) I spent a few hundred dollors to talk to a patent attourney....I was basically told unless I'm planning a multi million dollar profit from my product that it was not worth it to get a patent.....as soon as an idea is patented some knockoff company in China starts producing it cheaper and quicker than I could......I know the reality of my product being in that category is very improbable...but what about companies like Dell......and others who are sending american jobs over seas to potentially our biggest threat militarily and Financially......I still get sickened abou tthe special forces guy sthat got their new uniforms and found tags "made in China"....WTF is that....if we as a nation don't pull our heads ou tof our asses we are gonna be soooooo screwed in the near future.....all we need to do now is let mexico be our agricultural outsource and we're done....

I will relate a comment from jeepinator, someone who's been around for a while: I think we should just burn it all up. Use it all. GONE, oil be extinct.

Only then will we move on to alternative fuels/energy and this will all be over.

No do you really think the oil companies don't have some alternative to oil already waiting to take it's place.....the problem is we are going to have to pay billions to them because of all the secrecy they have surrounded alternatives in.....do you think they are going to just eat all the loss of having a product ready and not making any money off it for however long they had it???.....MIT has developed many alternatives to fossil fuels and every time the project get any recognition they are bought by oil companies.....HMMMMM are they buy ing the competition or a future market???

Saudi Arabia is supposed to be a 'friend' of America, yet 19 of the 22 suicide terrorist on 9-11 came from there. Why are we still buying oil from them? If we do, we only continue to support the terrorists we are trying to stop.

on tv they say drugs support terrorists, not oil see even the media warps our minds on this issue!

UMMM hello the biggest poppy fields in the world are in Afghanistan......Poppy = opium = heroine......bad sheet mon....and if you don't think these shitheads are using everything they can to make money from us you're wrong.....you buy that mexican weed? guess who might be funding the operations there or just have a hand in it.......you just do a little coke on the weekends???? that 80 bucks you spent may be providing them w/ the bullet that killed my cousin......make no mistake about the middle East their leaders want us dead......adn they are undermining our country from the inside out.....I'm not one of those if you ain't white you ain't right ignorant fuckers so don't think that at all.....I hate those pricks too....but we have to face the fact that militant muslims view us as the ENEMY......we need to start accepting that as a fact and stop pussyfooting around the issue.....My feelings and most peoples are very complex on this whole war....I don't htink we had the right to invade Iraq.....I'm glad hussein is gone.... as are many Iraqis.......but if mine and your freedoms are in danger...and they are from them and from our own gov......then bring the fight to them......bring the friggin mountain to muhammed....literally.......keep it out of my yard and in theirs.....yes the US does messed up stuff all over the world....so does every other major world power....everyone pushes the envelope to see how far they can go....the media is lying to our faces and we sit there and don't do poop about it....until you are ready to do something as each and every one of you is then just accept the consequences......I do whatever little I can so my conscience is as clear as it can be.....the thing that started this thread is the first hting EVERY AMERICAN CITIZEN should be doing right now......if you arent willing to do something that small then we (the USA) will never win the war in th emiddle east......if anybody is interested in th ereal reasons we are over there do a little research on a document called the "Pax Americana" written by the bush sr. cabinet.....it spelled out exactly what we are doing right now in Iraq step by step......scary poop is going down and 99% of us are clueless to it....

The U.S. hasone of the largest oil reserves, next to middle east. But and here is what get me, 60% of that oil goes in storage for the military. We will have the only operational military when the world oil reserves are depleted. Not only have we spent enough money on the countries to have bought and payed for the country several times through "government aid" but we still are paying. Also I may point out that the Bush Family is also the largest private investers in munitions. War makes them rich. What happened to the food for oil?? We gave the food but never got the oil and still kept giving food. Our government needs to worry about fixing the problems here first and not everywhere else. We should not try and baby sit or police the world. I only say this because I did a toys for tots type thing several years ago. WE went to a little trailor that they had put blankets up where doors and windows were supposed to be. But yet we build and donate everywhere else but our own country. Seems like priorities are out of whack to say the least. I do support our troops 100%( ex-army here) but I can't see the justification in going to Iraq when Osama was in Afganistan. It was purely a personnal thing. That Saudi's invest in the Bush family businesses and they don't want to take a chance in losing 1 cent. They rather kill our troops for nothing and that just pisses me off.
