So today I started my tear down of my buggy and I was upgrading the head on my OFNA Force .26 Engine and guess what I found. Some pretty severe marks on my piston head. I then proceeded to tear down my Engine and found some really nice gouges on my sleeve and side of my piston. I was wondering why I couldn't get any nut out of it. I just ordered a new sleeve and piston. Oh well just another day in the R/C world. I have been wanting to do some engine work anyway. Here's a pic of the destruction.

If you had to replace a glow plug recently, it could have been a piece of the GP wire, or something fell in the top of the engine when you pulled the GP out at one time. Always blow off the top of the head and dump it upside down before you pull the plug.

I didn't find anything in the crankcase. I'm trying to think about what happened last summer and I think I might have lost a piece of the coil from one of my glow plugs. I always spray off the engine with air and take out the plug upside down. Like I said before "Oh well". It's not like I'm going to run it soon anyway, damn snow.
