This is for those of you that don't want to spend extra money on water proof servos and haven't seen this. Its extremely cost effective and makes them 90% water proof. I used PlastiDip, got it from the hand tools isle at menards they use it to coat the handles on tools, and it cost about $7. You'll see it looks extremely thick initially but after it dries its extremely thin and contours to all the seams and crevases. *Sorry for the not so great quality pics*
This is after a coating them you can see how thick it looks which scared me at first but it gets extremely thin as you'll see.
You can see how much it contours to all the nooks and crannies, you can still tell they are tiny phillips head screws. This is 2 coats too.
Where the servo shaft comes through is the only spot you can't really seal w/o running into potential issues. When I know i'm going out into real wet conditions i'll put dielectric grease around the shaft.
