I just got back from dropping my daughter off at school. We were planning on going to school field trip together but it was canceled due to the rain. What rain you should see what rain really is by visiting a country that has a monsoon and then you'll know what rain is really about.
Anyway, some parents like to drop off their kids at school. Who wouldn't? I drop off my daughter and notice the major traffic jam in the parking lot as I am about got get back into my Jeep, which I must add is parked legally between 2 white lines. There must have been at least 10 cars parked illegally in the parking lot. That was not bad enough since some of the really lazy parents just staced in their cars without a care as to who they blocked in a parking spot, namely myself and a few other parents, as long as they stayed in line and didn't have to get out of their car to send young junior off to school in the rain.
While I applaud the parents for thinking of junior's well being by not taking them out in the rain I totally scorn them for not thinging of anyone else. While I could really care less about being detained by these parents personally as long as their motive was to keep young junior safe but I think it was nothing of the sort, rather a total lazy attitude and self preservation.
My daughter does not go to some exclusive private school. She goes to regular public schools. Most, or a great many, of the parents are military families. I saw a few of the parents in the traffic jam waiting to drop off junior in uniform. What are these knuckleheads going to do when we get deployed and they had to stay outside during a sandstorm?
I swear God must love stupid people, he makes so many of them.
