I just spoke to NC on the phone and got the story for you.
He was in his driveway walking on snow on top of frozen melted snow...(yup, get a lot of that in New York)...his right leg shot straight out, and he went down with his left leg folded under him. A neighbor saw him and had to help him up since he was unable to move his left leg.
Tomorrow, Monday, he goes for the MRI and then sees the surgeon to determine what needs to be done.
He's totally laid up with a splint from hip to ankle, but fortunately has a wife and kids to help him through.
When he gets back tomorrow, he'll try to log on with his wife's laptop and let us know what's up.
Keep him in your thoughts, he's in for a long recovery.

Wow NC, really sorry to hear that. I just can't wait to see how you painted the cast out of boredom and how purty it gonna be. Good luck, best wishes to you and you family.

Joe,

I would like to point out this happened OFF the job, so don't expect me to pay workers comp! However I'll let you take the day off today, consider it me being nice - but I fully expect you to be online and working again bright and early tomorrow morning! :D

Seriously though man, take care of yourself sounds like a poopy fall. A good friend of mine just had shoulder surgery about two weeks ago. Muscle was off the bone and all, they had to go in and grind the bone to make it rough to give the muscle something to grip onto during the healing process.

Anyways man take it easy and hope you get back to feeling well soon!

I feel most sorry for his neighbor.
Ever meet Joe in person?
Ill assume they had to harness up a full team of sled dogs to his pony tail to pull him into the house.

Get better soon buddy!

LMFAO, Ed.
Yup, he's a pretty big kid for his age. 6'4 and 300 lbs. When the snow and ice melts on his driveway, there will be a dent and some cracks in the asphalt.

LMFAO... Now that's funny right there.. sorry Joe... :D

Hope you get well soon!
I'm sure that the wife will agree that a new RC will make it all better!
