Anyone know if HPI or any other company makes a solid axle for an RS4 2? I know the Pro 4 sedan has one, does it fit? What about the Super Nitro, does it have a solid axle?

Oooh, may have found something that will work. The stage-d has a solid axle kit that is supposed to be for the rs4 3, but it look like it will work for the RS4 2.

If I remember correctly, the later RS-2 use the same front end and is the same width as the RS-3, so you might be able to use that part from the drift kit. So they sell just the pieces you need? I always thought you had to buy the whole stage-d kit.

Yeah, the diff cases are of course different, but the diff's internals seem to be the same size and dimensions, so I can't see why they won't work together.

The solid axles are not included in the stage-d conversion but are actually an add-on.

Heck, if the solid axle part is not too pricey I would try it. You seem to be pretty good at modifying things, so maybe a trick here or two might get it to fit.

Well I bought the solid axles from RushRC for $18.75 per kit, which is for one diff. It's not terribly expensive. Anyhoo, I should probably receive the stuff next week and i'll give an update to how it fits.
