Howdy Folks,

Looking for some inspiration from ya guys...

Been very busy with my Revo, all tinkering and upgrading as weathers been to damn cold.

What I have done so far...
1: RPM arms front and back (Blue) looks great
2: RPM Bumpers front and back (Blue) sets of the arms great
3: FOC (got rid of that PITA opti-drive)
4: Single Servo steering (Hitec 945mg)
5: Sealed backplate and carb to be sure no air leaks (reduced temp)

So with all that in mind what other bits n bobs to you experts recommend on me doing, I already plan to put the RPM axle carriers on it but gotta wait for some funds for that one as they cpst a fortune over here..

Been contemplating getting the rb tm323, is this a worthwhile purchase ?? will it give me a noticable increase in power ?? does the top end go up much ??

If i purchased the tm rb323, would it be worthwhile getting the new centre diff from traxxas to help keep the front end down, and maybe add the longer chassis too...

So many questions ?? lol

Or any other suggestions you guys have would be most welcome..

I am entering my first racing event on the 2nd April and look forward to it immensly.. Very nervous about it but really looking forward to improving my driving skills (or lack of them right now)

Cheers Guys

Maybe try P2 rockers and aluminum push rods. Also, if you PM me your e-mail, I have a terrific gearing chart for the Revo that I got from Jetmech. It's really excellent and outlines the various gear ratios you can get with different spur and CB set-ups.

You've got the right idea. Longer Chassis and Center Diff are a great upgrade. But maybe check out the new RB TM523. I'm not sure if its on their webpage yet but I'm going to order mine once I push some more stuff on Ebay. A Tuned Exhaust pipe is also a must. I had a Trinity pipe and it worked really well but I recently bought a Fantom Racing Works pipe and its a little better. Theres so much more that you could do it. Check out websites for info too, www.beatyourtruck.com has good info on hopups for the Revo. Good Luck in your upcoming race!

Hey monkey, since you did such an awesome job cleaning that thing up you should post it here, maybe we can get someone to sticky it!

another upgrade you can do is the new TUBES from traxxas i just installed them and not only do they look great they are alot lighter then the stock ones and alot beefier then stock also monkey could you send me the chart to please at [email protected] i could use it alot thank you

Already done the pushrods... 5318x all round, red look funky but already broken two sets, they aint that strong...

They have a weakpoint at the thread base, that has put me off buying the turnbuckles in the same material...

Instead, I have purchased 4 sets of turnbuckles (stock) and two sets of pushrods (stock) as spares in case of breakages whilst out driving..

Picked them all up for under a £10 from ebay, all new and stripped off new trucks for selling on ebay.. great deal.. no worrying about breaking rods or buckles.. at that price who cares lol.. got a bag full ...

I think i may go down the rpm axle carrier route 1st, then think about this new engine and stretched chassis and centre diff..

Spending money is such fun...

Shhh dont tell the wife..

Hey Monkey can you send that my way also? [email protected].

Thanks

The red pushrods suck, but the Tubez are a different story. I hated the pushrods and broke two. The Tubez have a different end on them. I recommend the Tubez but get the Lunsford pushrods. On the other side of that, don't get the Lunsford toe-links.
