Skipper, i mean FAST CARS the new audi s4 is going to have a 4.2 litre V8 in it with AWD , the BMW M3 puts down damn near or over 300 ft/lb or torque , and a porsche turbo will run a 12 low STOCK... while all of them will smoke an old car in a top end highway duel...

the other cars are usually all slow untill at least 4k rpm when the boost kicks in . so yes, they take some work to be really great draggers

a 69 olds is a nice car though ... i like old cars just as much as new, as long as they dont suck

ahh, ill take my Ford's and Gm's over an import anyday, even if they came out with an audi with a 2.0 litre engine with Super drive!!, i mean that must haul major ass, even with the Type-R sticker, i hear it adds 50 MORE HORSES!!!!!!

id still probably take a vette or something like a 98 camaro ss or firebird ws6 before an audi. just because of price/reward. the vette is obviously the best sports car ever for the money . and the ls1 in the camaro ss is no slouch either. i wouldnt start bashing audi , they have some cars that will blow your doors off

91 Ford Explorer (143,000 miles and still running Strong)

1972 Nova, 555BB Chevy 1500 HP, 8.63 in the 1/4 mile :devious: :w00t:

Gotta agree with Eddy on that find German engineering!

-Charged 1995 BMW M3 (350 rwhp)
-Track/Autocross BMW 325is

Never owned anything but german, never going to swtich either.

As of right now a 98 Honda Passport 4x4 which I'm gonna sell and get a 87 Toyota 4 runner with 35's or 38's and a 2003 VW diesel Beetle.

1997 red ford escort wagon. It even has a flower on the front license plate because I'm too damn lazy to take it off. It used to be my wife's car. Now, she drives the new KIA Sedona minivan. I always get the left-over car.
