we just ended our winter off season. being that my job can kill you, its safer if we take our money and go home for the winter.. season is over and weve been trying to get back to work, but the weather is just kill'in us! it just keeps raining and raining.. we can't hardly get a full week of work in. after taking off for about 3 months with the ocasional option to do a job, you kinda want the money, ya know.. I've got lots of rc stuff to buy!! i need a new savvy, the 5b needs a pipe and i want to stock up on lexan so i can paint.. i can't do that if I'm home, now can i.. i sat in my hobby room for the good part of the winter, this is the first winter my wife had to work, so i was kinda, "home alone" if you know what i mean.... the anxiaty is kill'in me.. been sitting around waiting for good weather for working and most important, bashing, and this is what we get!! rain!! i'll get one good but chilly day, and its followed by 5" of snow, or 2 days of rain.. oh well.. i'l just have to be pationt...thanx for listening to my rant... jason..

No problem man. It not only gets rainy here in CA, it gets colder than ice out. Thankfully, summer isn't too far away.

I know exactly what you mean. It's been a very wet winter down here in Louisiana. We have about 3 weeks of nice weather IF it doesn't rain too much, and then even on pretty days it's 100+ degrees outside, which to me is absolutely miserable. I lived in Nashville for a while when I was young because my Dad moved there, and I absolutely LOVED the weather there. They have 4 distinct seasons, where we only have 2. The hot days there were sooo much better than our coolest days in the summer. Everytime I take out my RC I think of that beautiful Tennessee weather.

I hope things get better for you and you can go back to work. Good luck with everything.

And if my memory serves me correctly it also get hotter than h*ll in Anderson..In my part of Ca. we dont get a lot of rain..just hot..but not as hot as where you live..My oldest lives in Redding..

I'm in Knoxville, East Tennessee. Beautiful. Last year was a bad drought, but we've had a lot of rain so far this spring. Everything is in full bloom around here.

I went to school in Minnesota. They had 2 seasons. Dead of winter, and part of July.

quit talkin bout all your hot, warm, flower blooming weather!!! i still got 2 more days of rain to come my way!! j/k... glad to here

getting into the 80's here and humid as all hell. if that makes you feel any better. We are not far away from the daily afternoon showers. I mean everyday between noon and about 5 pm.

Yeah, it jumps right up towards 112 at times. I remember one year it hit 115. The next year my dad had the seats in the '55 Chevy (see the whips thread) done over from vinyl to cloth.

The only saving grace is, if it gets too hot, there's always a stream or the lake to jump into.
