I did not drive the Volvo or Lexus. Just don't like the way they look.
It is so frigging weird not having to use a key. We will use the AWD in the winter when we go to Tahoe and Reno.

Its a bit weird driving a Japanese car as well. Its a lot more of a heavy feel then my Ford or even my Mercedes. I'm sure Ill get used to it.

How do your parents like the car?
Anything to watch out for?
Its cool to be able to check my tire pressure from the dash :p:

They say that it's one of the best cars that they've ever had.
They love it.
There was a recall in the new consumer reports.
here's what it says:

03-05 Nissan Murano
Vehicle speed could slow, and engine could eventually stop, possibly resulting in a crash.
125,466 sport utilitie vehicles. Hazard exists because a wire could break inside alternator, which could prevent battery from charging.
If so, charger warning and brake warning lamps will come on and battery will begin to discharge. Shortly afterward, engine will go into a condition that limits vehicle speed. After that, the engine will stop.

Make sure that sucker was changed, or you will get a notice that it will have to go in.
Or call Nissan at 800-647-7261

Sorry to hear about your misfortune on your truck. Cough Cough...quality is job #1 at Ford. Yeah right.

I never have owned an American (Ford, GM, Dodge etc) car or truck and I never will. Japanese all the way here.

Believe it or not, the cargo hold with the seats down is longer then the bed was on my Ford. I loaded my Slow Stick into the back with the wing still attached and went flying this morning.

Thanks for the recall notice. I have an appointment next week to get the tires rotated and a tow hitch installed. I will make sure they address the recall.

sounds like you made a good choice eddy. as much as i love vw's the tauregs had a lot of recalls.

I was talking to a freind last night and he said all the american companys use the same ABS manufacture, that if you had one problem, then it's related back to the company, but that's that.

is that the mureno that has a gearless transmission??
looks cool.....I like em but too much money and not enough function for me......
congratulations on the new car edd...

Congrats on the new baby, Eddy. Sounds like it has a lot of the newest bells and whistles.

We looked at the Volvo SUV with the new Ford V8 in it. 57K! Bought the Denali instead.

There are so many to choose from this day and age.
I'm likeing it so far but only time will tell if its a good one or not. All the reviews I read and the comparisons say Its a good bet but one never knows.

I am glad you didn't get hurt. I would search for recalls on that item. Seems something like brakes going out and putting your life and others in danger should be covered waruntee or no. Frigging Ford.....I did like that truck however. You will love being a Nissan owner, they make good stuff.
