I would make it to the indoor track today but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. Little chilly (39f), maybe I'll run it up and down the street a few times though. Or just let it idle in the garage (door open lol) so I can hear the engine and smell the burnt nitro? o_O

It as if it's begging me to drive it! :hehe:

Well whip it out and start playing with it!.....

A total retune will be necessary and keep your Temps over 200

Curious about the tune though. Broke in and tuned at around 50F. Ohhh it's 4:20 my time, time to fire it up, I'll let ya know how it goes.

Ahhhhhhh much better. Couple WOT passes after getting the temp up and I'm all smiles. I have to say this pipe and engine combo, I don't know this thing is greased lightning. I would be shocked if a top shelf mill were much faster. I've got torque for days and it screams. While idling it just sounds angry, almost a growl like sound. lol
The tune it was on worked fine, was already running just a touch on the rich side though. Track for sure tomorrow. Already been 5 days and I'm getting really anxious. :woot::woot::woot:

Got it up to 160 with the hair dryer before starting it and 220 before wot. Didn't check temp after WOT passes, significant other came rolling down the street and ruined my fun...I kid...sort of lol.

The wot pass temp was the most important one,..220 idling and slow driving g?

Yeah 220 by slow driving and idling. I'll get the temps again tomorrow at the track. Going early. Can't wait!!!

at the current time where I live it is only -3 degrees c (26f), I've tried firing it up and it just ain't having it- I can't be bothered to fiddle too much so ill just leave it for today, what engine and pipe combo are you using?

We're expecting mid 70's temps this weekend where I live. Time to pack up the collection and go break some stuff. :thumbs-up:

At the track , 50f today. Temp got up to 240-245 after a couple hot-laps. Alright by me. Thought I had damaged my steering servo after clipping a wall but it seems fine now. Been here for 2 hours and don't want to leave...EVER! :hehe:

Engine is Dynamite Mach2 .21SG and the pipe is also Dynamite, 086 High Speed. Just got back from the track and I'm all smiles. Feel like a crack head. Didn't want to leave and already can't wait to get back.

Attempted to drive mine today- still too cold, just can't get the temps up :(

yep it's 80 here and cloudy so it's shady too. i can't decide where to go run ;)
26c!! (80f) we are lucky if It gets that hot in the summer here in the u.k!

I'm planning on getting either a Dynamite or Ofna 086, with a Novarossi P5XLT- but, looking at your engine- it has a pull start, so I may consider your's instead.

Mine doesn't have the pull start. It came with one but I removed because it wouldn't fit my RC 8.2 chassis. Considering a roto start though that also adds weight and I'm planning on racing. Can't decide if the convenience is worth it. The Dynamite pipe is nice but be warned, it is short. This exhaust is so short that I can't secure it to the exhaust stay post at the front of my chassis. Actually haven't secured it at all and after many crashes its shown no wear. As for the engine, I couldn't be happier. Broken in properly the Mach 2 .21 is a beast. One more thing about pull/roto starts, most engines can be retrofitted. Lastly, and most importantly, the weather. I hate when it's too cold to fire up my kit but I would hate it infinitely more if I wrecked my engine because of my impatience, so good call. I may have pointed these out to you previously but there are little battery powered heat wraps, like mini F-1 tire heat blankets, that you can use to heat up the engine, bet you could rig it to stay on the engine and keep temps up....o_O NEVER GIVE UP! :hehe:

Is it just the dynamite pipe or is ofna's the same? Also I did look at engine heaters, but I just use a hair dryer instead. :P

My 086 Dynamite is the only pipe I've had. Ofna's pipes may be fine length wise and as I recall are typically well liked by those that use 'em.
