^^LOL Funny you guys should mention the bees, there's a sign that I'll get a good shot of next time at the Hooper Bald (5429ft ele) trail head that mentions a Cherokee Indian legend about a giant hornet like creature.

It aint too funny when you have one of them hit you in the face at 100 mph! I had a locust hit my finger once on one of my bikes while i was racing a guy at 150 or better and i thought it broke my damn hand! Needless to say i wore better gloves from then on and never run over 50 with my shield up on helmet.
