Looking good...kinda makes me want one! lol

New pics. 40's running good, water is perfect, still have a little algae but its dying off so you will see some in the pics still.

15g sump with refugium. Have Chaeto in the fuge (helps steal nitrates/nitrites from the water running over it. DIY skimmer in now too, running excellent!

Full tank pics dont look good from my cell though.

Open Brain coral.

ha ha. Time to start a new one then.

Thanks man! can't wait to see it in 6 months.

Looks good dude. Keep a eye on that mandarin. They are hard to keep alive. That open brain looks bad ass!

Thanks Brando! He eats copods like a pig and is doing great, the mandarin that is.

Did you start one @grgbulldog ???

everything is doing great, tank is perfect. Getting done with a green hair algae battle but dosing H2o2 is the answer to that when done right.

Water is dirty cuz I just siphoned the sand for a partial water change but this is it at the moment. My xenia had grown to about a 7" ball but didnt take the h2o2 and I got it out of the tank to late, didnt make it.

My phone makes it look like not much coral but I have lots of stuff.

It's looking awesome. No I did not. I decided that it wouldn't be a good idea with my current living situation. I'll eventually put one together.

Thanks a bunch man! Ima throw together a Pico next, prolly a 2.5g.

In my current tank? I have a watchman goby, pistol shrimp (they are a team), yellow tail damsel, cardinal and a mandarin goby, some blue and red leg crabs and a emerald crab.

If I do a 2.5g, Prolly just be coral with some snails, crabs and maybe one something like a clown goby or something, not sure yet on that since its so small. Smaller tanks are not hard to keep like people used to say, just stay steady with them and its not a big deal, might start yourself a little one to begin with.

A little 2.5? I grabbed an old 10g from a friend a while back. Never did anything with it.

I enjoyed my 10g. And yeah, a little 2.5. Can do a small hang on back filter and have plenty of flow with it too.

Heres a great example of a well done 2.5 gallon pico.

The problem is that I don't keep up with my freshie tank well enough. I'm afraid ill slack on it.
