I have snapped the rear-center drive shaft twice and the front-center drive shaft once in the past week. All driving was on road surfaces or in grass.

I am sick of pulling the thing to the side and replacing parts, even though all the parts so far have cost just $6.

My question is, which is the better center drive shaft kit - Traxxas, or MIP?

I heard that the Traxxas ones snap just as easily "they have a pretty coating, but the metal is poop" said one hobby store guy. Never heard anything good or bad about the MIP T-Maxx set, but they've been great in my T3, my friends B3 and another guy's RC10GT

what say you?

revo drive cups w/ savage 77mm dogbone. search around to find part #s.

its what i use and it works great. i got 2 gallons use behind my Picco red dot. I replaced it because it was worn, not broken.

the yokes are snapping every time, either the "fingers", or the yoke assembly simply shears from the other part of the out-drive shaft. Very frustrating when you go to do a wheelie and you're suddenly front wheel drive and the tires turn into balloons :)

Back the slipper off a little. What engine, clutch, gearing and tires are you running? What kind of terrain do you run on? Do you have a locker?
