Looking to get 3s for my wltoys 124017 v2. I would like them to have a decent capacity of at least 1500mah preferably more, and over 25c. I would like them to be inexpensive batteries, so probably not spectrum or anything like that. The problem is, I’m having trouble finding something that fits in the car. I’ve been trying to get 2200mah and every one is too big. Anything close to the stock battery size, 4 x 1.25 x 0.5 inches? Thanks

Go to HobbyKing.com or any other battery website that has the ability to filtar results according to size dimensions and youll be able to find the highest mAh rated battery that will fit your kit. HK's lipos are generally speaking good quality and not terribly priced. There are other lipo sites out there where you can search like that also or you're just going to have to do it the old fashioned way and put in the leg work looking at the sizes of the individual batteries.

Thanks! This fits my dimensions perfectly- is it good? https://hobbyking.com/en_us/zippy-compact-1500mah-3s-25c-lipo-pack.html

Grey's LiPo tests have the Zippy Compact series ranking right near the top, so yeah, good battery fo sho.
Guess I’m not buying them from hobby king 😂

Any suggestions for good places to buy them?

That’s from the global warehouse, the US is out of stock. I’ll see if I can set an in stock alert or something!
You have to set HK's filter settings to only show in stock US Warehouse. Sometimes you can order from the UK or Global warehouses but the shipping is more if it will let you at all.

I have 2 Zeee 3S 1500mah and was impressed with them. My stock Wraith would run for 25-30min per pack. I think for the 2 was $40.
Theyre cheap but they arent very good in terms of performance compared to other lipos that can be had for just a little bit more.

Well, any LiPo you plug in and run is going to likely work just fine. And most people won't even notice a difference in performance unless they are running a kit pushing a LiPo pretty hard, which is what Grey's tests do. They push the LiPo harder than your RC will. Unless you run the exact same kit side by side with with different batteries in each... it would be hard to see any shortcomings of a LiPo.

But based on the tests Grey has told me the results of on the various LiPo's, I wouldn't buy the Zeee packs, simply because they hit pretty much the bottom portion of the spreadsheet.
