Also parts I'm gonna need and links are always great or a sliper upgrade tgats more resilient

If it's slipping too much this is what happens,...snug it up good and back it off 1/4 turn -1/2 turn

Put pegs in all 12 holes in the new spur, hit the friction rings in pic 2 with some 600grt sand paper(or replace them) before putting it back together.
eBay is your friend, for parts.

Thanks any idea about the pieces that hold the rings in place one of the pieces that hold it look a little deformed should i change the spur gear size have a mgt mgt4.6 with a 8.0 tranny again thanks

I have the 4.6 config on the 8.0s i took the whole shaft off the 4.6 and switched them people do it to the 8.0 so you can change the spur size

That I didn't know they were interchangeable. How I adjust my slipper I always tighten it down completely then back off about a 1/4 turn.
