Slipper Gear!!!!!! :( :( :(

ok so I have a nitro rustler that I got off craigslist everything works fine but I have went through 3 spur gears 2 of them melted 1 of them stripped now so I once again bought a new spur gear with brand new pegs in it and its lasted about 2 days I ve kept a close eye on it and its not stripped but the pegs are shredded so I pulled it to replace pegs and the stupid BEARING is like froze to the Shaft and I can't get it off any idea how? I have really wanted to get into nitro rc ever since I was a little kid and my neighbor had one now that I finally have one I'm thinking it just wasn't ment to be

Thats the sort of things that happen when you buy used sounds to me like your setting your slipper to loose and a failed bearing

any idea how I would get that bearing off? and I tighten till slipper spring is closed and back off like 1/2 turn

Just tap and pry and maybe some PB Blaster, pray u don't damage anything. Welcome to the Nitro world :/ Get used to labor and grease, but its so worth it.
