I was just wondering if there was anyway to keep the Slayer from tipping over so much? Is great in dirt get it on grass or anything else will roll real easy. I already have the sway bars on it. Didn't know about adjusting the shocks and how that would help?

Didn't know if you could widen it any or get wider tires?

Depending on the slayer you have, I think they made one a bit wider. Not sure if it's the arms/axles or both.

Could also try getting some 17mm hubs and getting 1/8 buggy wheels/tires. Less sidewall flex.

That said, it's relatively high center mass, so it's going to be "tippy" on high traction surfaces (grass/pavement). I had my revo as a slayer for quite a while. Really liked it, but didn't have anywhere to run it well with such low clearance. Definitely forced you to drive better compared to wider stance of the revo.

Its great in the dirt as soon as you get anywhere you get traction and speed it rolls on you. Could be that I just suck too but still rolls easy. It's a older slayer. I'm not sure on the year I got it off ebay used. First Nitro....Wanting to get it running good then get a new one. I shouldn't of bought one used. It's came with alot of headaches. Had it for about a month only ran three tanks through it. Not because I didn't want to or didn't have time was always something broke that'd I'd have to wait on a part for. I had it running good the other day. Then I went to start it a few hours later wouldn't start. Was planning on sealing motor up anyway but went ahead and done that now just waiting on 24 hrs to pass to see if it'll start.

Already have that on there...Does anyone know what carb I would need for a 3.3 on old slayer? Would it be the same? When I was putting it back together noticed part was stripped out.

Same carb as the Revo 3.3. Traxxas came out with the Slayer Pro 4x4 a few months back. They made it wider and longer. Wider is easy to do, just get the Slayer Pro a arms. You don't need the longer axles either. To make it longer is a little harder. You have to get the Revo 3.3 chassis. Changing a chassis is taking everything off and putting it all back together.

I found it helpful to change the rocker arms to the p3's. Other than that, there really isn't a whole lot else except to learn to control it

what's the p3's? Might end up changing the a arms. It's about $1 a mm. Just wondering if it'd help that much? Would better than the stock shocks help? I can push down on it to the ground and it wont come back all the way up unless you pick it up then the shocks will go all the way out. Is that normal?

The p3 is a longer cantilever, it increases the exponential force created as it goes down. The longer arms really helped me

I might give them a go after I get a new carb. The high speed needle stripped out. So can hopefully get that here before the weekend. Really hoping that it runs good after this.
