Hi Guy's..... I got a Brand New Slayer Pro 4x4 a few weeks back now & I have the Rig Broken in per Traxxas Spec's & I am ready to tune the 3.3 to it peak engine performance band & adjust the shift timing a bit to hit 2nd gear a tad sooner with adjusting the shift point a tad sooner I think it will help me out of turns & lining up for jumps on my hobby shop's off road track.... The Manual states not to exceed 270 deg's MAX I'd like to tune the 3.3 to run between its peak power band but not exceed 255 deg's...... Thanks any help would be nice I like to tune it this week I intend to take my Slayer to the Track this weekend......

Looks like I am on my own on this subject LOL LOL I think I will call Traxxas Tech Support on Friday & see what they suggest on peak engine tuning......

There's no set "performance" tune, it varies on your weather, fuel, etc. If you contact Traxxas, they'll just tell you the same thing that their tuning DVD does. You could've also looked at the stickies in the nitro forum, here.
