Slash problem

so i got home today.. went outside started running my truck.. all of a sudden the motor stopped working.. i was only running it down the driveway nothing strenuous.. can't get it to work now... servo responds and esc responds but motor does not

I'll give you the same tip as h8....

Use a voltmeter and first check your battery voltage. If voltage is good, connect the leads to the motor. Have a friend apply throttle (or do it yourself if you can contort) to see if the motor sees any voltage. If you see voltage, then the motor is toast.

My first Slash motor died suddenly without warning just like you.

is the light on your esc red or green? if it is red then try turning your throttle trim fwd/bwd until it turns green. Once it turns green then try the throttle. I noticed that sometimes on the rustler and slash which both use the same esc and motor I have to do this....

Hey SweetD... what motor and ESC did you replace it with?

i just have same prob but my light is staying red.it happened after i put the 23t pinion on and was making some high speed runs at my ramp.i havnt messed with the trim yet but i will say the moter was hot.

Is the motor turning at all? Check your gear mesh.

i can turn the back wheels and see the moter turning.i think i ran it too hard thru to much water.:\

Its probably the motor. As stated before. The titan, while a powerful motor, is not that durable.

I'm not gonna replace it ill just wait til i get the vxl system,couple weeks away.for the last month I've bashed the crap out of it so I'm sure it could use a break. break not brake

it seemed pretty quick when i first got it but the more i ran it and got better control of it the more i want to go fast.

Yep, stock Slash is pretty fast for a brushed motor, but Stupid fast always seems to be the next step everyone wants to make, even myself.

i only got to drive my slash 2 times before mine did this too it also happened to my xl-5 pede

mine ran fine.. i will admit i was playing in water and mud when this happened
