I want to buy a set of aluminum hex hubs to replace all 4 on my slash, the rear has been replaced many many years ago and idk if it’s stock width anymore and the fronts look to be the original, I was wondering if anyone knows the thickness or offset of them so I can get the right sizing, I know they are 12mm hex just not sure the other dimension

Front wheels on the slash 2wd will commonly need more offset to be equal to the rear. If you use equal offset wheels (and hexes) on all four corners, the front end will be skinnier. If they're proline wheels with those hubs/adapters... they're labled.

they don’t have the swappable hubs but all 4 are the same scte offset or 0 offset I believe it is, but even using these I would need the wider hubs in the front?

Pull out a ruler & measure how wide the front & rear are when you do it. It's often common (performance wise) to have a wider front end.

Side note: It's not really necessary to do the fronts.. it's just a 2wd and nothing really happens up there and no actual thrust is on the front hexes... they just sit there & spin. Put 12MM aluminum's on the back & drive. ;)
what thickness though? I know 12mm hex but the other measurement I do not know, also throws me off since I have the proline protrac kit and my dimensions are exact to the original and it has specific wheels that I will be using

ah well id have to wait to do that then 😅 it’s in pieces right now for maintenance and cleaning lol

I run mostly traxxas rear offset wheels on all 4 with rpm offset arms in the front.
when I looked up my wheels the description said they are designed to be ran front and rear with this suspension kit specifically so I think front arms are longer than stock idk I might have to research or reach out to proline for some help with this lol

I still have stock hexes on my 2wd Slash. It has gray hexes on front and black hexes on the rear. The front gray hexes are about 1/8 wider. Front tires look about that much wider than rear too. I’m not sure if hex sets are sold in both sizes or separate. I’ve not done much work to my Slash

Now if u back 15-20 years Traxxas use to make a front rim and a rear hex rim. For Rustler any way. The suspension is 90% the same on both. I doubt they do this anymore.
