Hey there! Taking inventory on all the parts I need for the rc cars and figured out I need new axels for the slash. The amount of those dumb things I have broken is crazy and I'm tired of it. Tried the $60 traxxas ones, those failed, tried some Amazon ones, kind of worked, stock ones are trash, and the HD bits I had on it were okay, but I never got the full set so I'm not sure. What are you guys recommending for those axels that aren't gonna break the bank but give some okay quality. Looking for all parts.

I just tried the new extreme heavy duty ones from the 4wd on my 2wd... they lasted 1 run and it broke at the stub.

In all fairness it was on 4s. Gentle speed run though.

Says they're 2s max and I'll need the HD version to run anything more. That true?
idk. iv never run more than 2s. but if that's what MIP is saying id believe it. they're known to make high quality products that last. I'm sure they're erring on the side of caution. but how far is unknown to me.

I've run it a few times more than a 2s. It's kinda sketchy, but the 3 times I've done it it's worked

I've been running the Extreme HD Traxxas shafts on my Bandit for around 2 years and have never had a problem. And, even though I'm only running 2S, I've been running with extreme torque. Never had a problem.

Same here. I have them on my Traxxas slash 2wd. I run 3s on it, with a clutch eliminator. haven't had a problem. But the EXD axles are also known to have problems. some people experience it, and some don't. it just depends how you drive your rc, as well as how your car is configurated.

Yeah I'm thinking I might run those and buy the full set, not just the parts I broke

Go to the Jenny's RC website and see if they have them. Better deal than anywhere else in my experience.
Oh yeah, and loosen up the slipper clutch 😉
