Well, here's sl0eg1n's new Xray. No race to run it in but a little outdoor activity. I'm sure he'll chime in and give a lowdown on his car.

VERY nice. Body colors are good for racing; keeps your eye on your car.

I notice no body roll in the pictures of it cornering. Can I expect this from most electric on road cars set up for race? I have a TC4. I run the GP 3300's and a Novak ESC/motor. I bought them used and have not really tuned the motor or brushes as I have a Neo One and Sphere on order. Should be here any day now.

Sl0eg1n's xray is one of the most balanced cars I've seen. Most people would think that the side with the batteries would be the heavier side. We stuck it on a balance and the battery side was lighter! He had to stick 10 grams on the battery side to balance her out.

As far as body roll. That's all shock/spring combo as well as setup. D/L a setup for your TC4 from one of the drivers list. Sl0eg1n is running a stock setup, I think and it does push a little bit.

The TC4 has an inhereant push as well, even when setup correctly. You will have to take care of the shock oil and mounting as well as the spring combo. The sway bars do help.

BTW, just keep in mind that setup and tweak settings are all trial and error. Both sl0eg1n and I can spend hours setting a car up and testing (both electric and nitro). Once you find a combo that you like, it's all just a matter of minor adjustments when you go from track to track. Keep asetup sheet handy so you can always go back to a baseline setting or have your setup handy for each track and not have to play around too much during practice.

Thanks Diver. I am still in the learning curve when it comes to electrics. Even though I have a nitro on road car, the electrics drive so much differently.
