Looking good. I could supply pictures of humvees, but they arent regular ones. All we have are uparmored. As for the insides, way too fancy lookin lol. Military trucks are the epitomy of utilitarian and uncomfortable lol.

I did my time, so I've familiar with the seats and the 'look', that's why I need to change the dash. I allowed a little artistic license for the electronics since it won't show up unless you're looking in the windows.
All the interior lights will be red which will also help give it the look.

Sorry to sound pretentious. lol. It is great work, dont get me wrong. I want a scale humvee body for my Slayer.

Not at all.
I know about that over armored look, but that sure is a lot of work. I've downloaded dozens of photos of HVs just for ideas. It's got a really mean look to it, but this thing is so big and so heavy already that I don't dare add to it. I haven't even added the chassis and running gear, and at this size it's going to be solid brass rails for most of it.

The seats have been covered with fine weave fiberglass cloth to give them that heavy duty canvas look, that dash has GOT to go, and some DIRT :whhooo: ...yes, DIRT will be added.

Oh CRAP, Chip. Do you have any idea what you've done?
Posting that link is going to require a part time job.

Thanks man! Some really amazing stuff.
Excuse me. I'll need some time to transfer some funds.

Sounds like it is time to reinforce the display shelves, LOL!!!!!!

And get its own sealed display case so none of the dirt contaminates the reast of your shelf queens:D:hehe::p:

Sorry :p::hehe:

Oh man, I just had a look through MonkeyDepot. Some of those figures are just unreal, especially the stuff made by Soldier Story. Insane amount of detail, very impressive.

Ah, bummer. I've been perusing their stock for about half an hour, and I've only seen about half.
Sure, ONLY $1.99 or $2.49 for lots of great stuff. I think I already put together an inventory of over a hundred bucks.
You suck.

Have you thought about using Revo diffs and half shafts. It is an independent suspension......

What timing for you to revive this thread.
Just yesterday I took it to HobbyTown to try some 'fitting' of what was available.
I have a lot of options with solid rears, but I'm really looking for the independent suspension and 4 wheel drive.
The Revo set up comes in a little too wide for this. If you have any info or options post a link for me.
I'm only looking for a front end and a rear. (Diffs, A arms and axles) Everything in between will be fabricated to fit.
I can't get much wider than 9 or 9 1/2 inches to the hexes, to allow for minimum tires outside the body.

What about the Slayer set up, not sure but I think the Slayer has shorter a-arms then the Revo. Just checked the Slayer is close at 11.65" wide to the outside of the wheels, so it might be narrow enough at the hexes.

E-Maxx with the narrow arms, you will have to find a wheel with little or no offset and you should be close. I think thats what was used on the link I sent you.
