Oh i'm getting one of the two. I wanted to get the guy's who have this engine's opinion.
The racer, or the Pro??
I know the GT is heavier than your buggies, but I need some input on this.
Does one have more torque than the other?
Whats the difference in the two.
LMK what you think.
Thanks

Dude get a damn wheelie bar, if you thought your savage with 8 port flipped all day wait till run that bad boy. My picco 26 keeps my savage in it's lid quite a bit. I intend to gear up but this motor just keeps making more and more power as it go's.

So I was told the sirios wake up after their first gallon and I too am seeing more and more power. Almost makes me afraid to run more fuel.

Dude I just understand that to be how a higher performance motor will go. Supposedly that once you have run a gallon through her you will be seeing peak power out of it. I forgot where I am on the tank/gallon count. Honestly every week that I run my savage it gets to be more and more power. I know I am no where's near a gallon. I'm currently running 15/52 gearing and am going to be making a change to 15/49 with my savage. When it gets to be making some seriousl power I am going to run 20/49 gearing the on road tires and see what kind of top speed I can get. I'd be stoked to see 40mph out of it.

so you think that mill would be too muckin fuch?
Maybe i'll go with a more tame mill then.
I'll be racing this truck, and I dont want to be flipping it all day.

Homie I'm not trying to discourage you from buying it at all but more rather a precaution. Maybe gearing is in the answer. Maybe you will need to get a 20T clutchbell and tall spur. I imagine it would be insane fast though.

Yeah, I dont need insane speed. I just want the loads of torque.
I just checked with the track, and .26 is the limit that they allowed. I will have to go another route.

If you want a .21 mill under .26 then consider the Sirio Kanai .21. Error has one and it's absolutely mind blowing. Plus it's about $80 less expensive than the .27.

There's definately a difference between the power and speed of the .27 vs the Kanai .21 but the Kanai is still freaking fast. Way faster than any other .21 I have played with.

I was considering that one as well.
The reason I need the power, is that I need to clear this jump, which is no small task for a MT. Its called the monster.
Its the jump at the far left side of the track.
You hit that jump from our right to left looking at the pic.
As you can see, it's steep and not a lot of running room before you hit it. The track is much bigger in real life, And the pic makes it look small. The guy's with the stocker motors barely make it. It's hit or miss. they probably miss it as much as make it.
Thats why I'm on a search for a new mill. Check the pic,

WoW.... You have no idea how lucky you are to have a track like that nearby... We dont have any 1/8th scale worthy tracks here in NY... Not one... poop, it's hard enough to find a bashin spot...

Ya know it's not easy for me to find bashing spots either. Right now I live in damn farm land and yeah you would think it would be easy but it's frickin not at all. Everything is too frickin green here in the North West hard to find empty lots and such that aren't covered in greenery

Hell, look for conctruction sites. No only can you get all the free lumber you can carry you can also have on hell of a bash session too. Talk about perks! Hell Sky and I have bashed at more construction sites than we have tracks.

Oh, there's plenty of construction going on, but they fence in the areas on large projects. If you happen to find a good site, chances are you will be kicked out by security...
If anyones looking for a money making venture, open up an indoor, 1/8th scale offroad track somewhere in the tri-state area.... lol

Get the s27r pull start, unless you are planning on using a starter box. It's not too much hp for an mt. You won't be sorry that you did.

does any anyone know a track in new york that run 1/8 trucks.or anyone close to new york.
