I was running my Maxx today with my .23 Sirio, and didn't realize that my air filter poped off. Now my engine is gone! Whats worse is that i can't find any parts for this engine. Does anyone know of any website that i would be able to find a piston and sleeve for this engine, cause I have not had any luck.

heck ya. I try and do a general check up on my rides prior to running. Airfilter is secure, exhaust cuopler is secure, wheel nuts are on snug. Head bolts and plug on right.

well heres the problem, if your engine ingested dirt, there could be extensive damage. you will need to pull the engine completely apart and i would recommend taking some high res pics for us to look at. things we will be looking for are:

scuff marks and scratches on the crank, both exterior diameter, and rod pin
wear marks inside the bushings of the rod
marks on piston
marks on sleeve

did the engine die while running it, or did you stop it? this would indicate damage is so severe its not cost efficient to repair it.
did it make some wierd noises like a rattling? this would indicate shot bearings

I've gotten dirt in an engine before. Take the engine apart and completely clean it out and check for the things CorradoPsi mentioned. After I cleaned it out it ran great, even better tahn before, I guess it was dirty already...

CorradoPsi- i stalled the engine out when i noticed it.
have already ripped the engine apart last night and cleaned it and reassembled it. The engine appears to be gone. As far as taking some pics, I will have to rip it apart again later and learn how to post them.

If you can see scratches on the piston and sleeve then most likely its gone.

As for pics, register at www.photobucket.com and upload your pics there. Copy the link and post it and the pics will automatically show up.

The crank doesn't appear to have any deep scratches, as you can see from one of the pics I can push the piston almost all the thru the sleeve. On the top of the piston there are some tiny nicks at the edge, which I was unable to get with the camera. I'm probably gonna go to the LHS tomorrow and let him look at the pieces to let me know what I need.
