I can't vouch for that site but their prices are odd. It says +$22.00 for the 2.5 drop in with slide carb. The engine they have listed for $147.00 is for the original maxx with rotary carb and it's usually $20.00 more expensive then the engine for the 2.5. So that is a sweet price for the old maxx drop in. Last time I checked @ tower they where $219.00.

I bought tires, rims and a body from them and they shipped fast. The only thing I did not like about that site is their specials page prices do not show on the regular pages. Like the rims I bought show as $19.99 on the reg. page but on the specials page they are $15 and it says that over 30% off...with who's math? Anyways, the lhs sells them for like $25 so it was a good deal. Either way, I got what I wanted quickly and at a good price so I would buy from them again.
 
THe LHS' sell the motor for about $180-ish a few bux wont kill you, Support your LHS!!
 
My LHS sucks. They lie about pricing, they lie about what they have in stock (which is real fun when I drive 50 miles and find out they don't have what I called about, but they have something similar for more $)...

I'll buy from tower. The distribution center is in IL which is the state I live in, so I'm kind of supporting something.

um ur wrong i just went there the sirio 18 is over 200$

all there prices are way high like 225 for a mini t there only 150 rtr at lhs




also as to the sirio 18 price u can get it new off ebay for 140-150 two sellers have them listed now one sells then 140 one asking 150 and like 15 total listed i think thats the best I've seen so far but i think all those are slide carb

I'm fortunate enough to have some great LHS's around here and one particular bad ass LHS. THey'll break in and tune any nitro you buy from them for free and they'll give you endless free tuneups. THey'll also install most parts that you buy from them for free.

Hello all, I run DiscountHobbies4U and I can vouch for them. We nearly bend over backwards to keep our customers happy.

Sorry about the specials page where is says $15 for the rims, that was a sale we ran, its over and I dont know how to get rid of that cached page people keep finding through the search engines.

We sell at a fixed percentage over cost, the bit with the Sirio we were just getting the old 1.5 t-maxx versions for less than the 2.5's

Another thing, sorry I havnt had time to update our specials and sales for some time I've been working on a new site expect to see a link off of the DiscountHobbies4U page and alot of sales and specials on both sites soon!

I was so busy NEARLY bending over that I forgot how to delete an html page and make a redirect.

pretty funny, I can take a joke though, sorta left myself open for that...

...but what confuses me though, since I can set prices on... well, anything hobby related you might want, is why instead of asking for good prices, you're jabbing me in the ribs! Seriously tho, want a quote shoot me an email
