Sup guys,

I've been wanting to replace my lousey (well it's powerful for the touring car but freaking lously in a Maxx..hehe) Traxxas .15 pro motor that's in my 4-Tec pro. What would I need to do to put the Sirio motor in my 4-tec if I can and will that monster Sirio pipe even fit????? That motor would definitely make my 4-tec haul ass.

I'm probably going to eventually put this Sirio motor in my Maxx to as I can't stand the 2.5 (tunning nightmare) and I wont more power but don't wanna necessarily do a big bore conversion.

Peace and TIA!!

i think the 4tec would explode into a billion peices ... if you hate tuning . dont get a sirio either , because they are finicy just like , if not more so then the 2.5 ... i say if you want a fast engine . get a fantom or os 15 . they are fast and easy to tune. also mugens are good .

Most people i know say the Sirio is a 2gal max mill...... Kinda a waste of the 4tec to put such a inferrior mill into it.

There are better engine out there for the money... and less hassle. OS makes a damn tootin good product, Rossi, RB Concepts, Pico, Ofna, Team Orion... and on and on.

For the 4tec any mid or high end motor would do the trick. Be wise and realize the 4tec is a good car.. just wont handle well in corners at high speed without a tight setup.

Interesting view, to say the least. The Sirio lineup is in no way inferior. They are top-notch, beautifully crafted Italian racing engines that in no way can be described as a "waste". Have you ever seen the port work?.... Man, it's pretty. The Sirio is just about as high-end as it gets. The Sirio .18 spanks out a whopping 1.9hp!! Inferior!?!?!?!:wtf:

I know.... But thats just what I see here and a few other forums.

Personaly I dont run them.. But I do sell them and see more then half return with a prob. Mostly with the T-Maxx version.

Its funny how one views a color as red.. and the other guy across the river says its a red-orange.

That's because the sun is shining in your eyes, buddy! But in all seriousness, I've never heard of any consistent problem with the Sirio lineup. They're high-end Italian engines, they're gonna be a tad bit more finicky to tune, but that comes with the territory of running an engine of it's caliber. It's not an HPI .15fe, it's not made to be newbie friendly. And in no way is it harder to tune than the 2.5!!! But to just out and say that the Sirio is "a waste of the 4tec to put such a inferrior mill into it" is just crazy.
