I've got a semi new sirio .12 TRP (non turbo) Its pretty much broken in... (just put about 2/3 gallon through it) and just took my car out to the track. Now I've heard that ROAR is allowing turbo engines to run in races and was thinking shucks! i just bought my engine just to find out i can run a turbo! Well after thinking about it i was wondering about port and polish.. Is this legit? By port i dont mean make more like some guys do i mean shave off sharp edges and then polish it. My second idea was to get a turbo button and a turbo crankshaft... But seeing as I have everything for a port/polish that was my first choice. Now if porting isnt ROAR legal, is polishing? or is it worth it just to get a trubo button and crank shaft?

well why not run it and see how you keep up with the local guys first. if you can't, try a turbo button next. then id polish up the inside of the case, and finally a turbo crank if you find you still need more power.

thanks thats what was first suggested.

BTW When i look at my engine (i look just under where the bottom heatsink fin is)and i can see half of the piston sleeve showing is it supposed to show like that or should i take the head of and move the piston into place?

on some engines you can see the flange of the sleeve with the head still on, and some you can't. if your head were loose enough to see the sleeve when you werent supposed to, the engine would never run. as long as its running now, dont bother taking off the head. keep in mind what you may be seeing is the replacable button.
here is the side view of my sirio. if yours looks like this, your fine.

Alright mine looks like that. What pipe are you using on that? I have an idea that my pipe is just a muffler and not an actual tuned pipe. Heres what I've got : Trinity In-Line Pipe Set

I'm not sure about it, it came with my car kit (G4 Racer kit) and I didnt know whether it was tuned or not.
