For foam tires they make a grip compound called "EDIT" I think.
I think it's made by EDIT
I'm looking for a link now.
SG will do nothing for foam tires but make them wet and soapy.

I can't find a link. I must have the name wrong.
I'll find out tomorrow, and post it.

TQ Traction compound( 3 varieties within that company). I can't recall the manufacturer. Wipe it on, let it dry for 10 minutes and rub it in with a rag. There's also traction compound made by Niftec. Niftec is put on 5-8 minutes before hand, air dried and run. No rubbing needed.

Ratzo, you're referring to the stuff we use on indoor carpet, right? Traction compound always made the place smell like BenGay.

Sweet. Glad you had a good time. I wish I could have been there to check it all out. I could have taken pics to post. Next time......

BINGO!!

TQ. I know who makes it too. Just can't remember.
You dont have to wipe TQ with a rag. Best to let it sit.
At southshore you see where you put the car on the track?
All that black poop is from people scuffing the tires (rubbing the car in figure 8 motions on the rug).
Just do that for a second and let er rip.
Diver, next time you run 12 scale, just put the TQ on the inner portion of the tire. About 1/3 of the inside surface.
It will provide plenty of front traction and keep the rear from spinning out.

Yup, that's what I do. slop on the entire rear, 1/3 on the inner part of the wheel up front. Anything more than that and I'm traction rolling! I do use the "burnout strips" on the sidefor the rear and do the figure 8 wipes as well. When Benny's not looking, we're kinda "wiping" it off on the track with short pegs of the throttle ;) mostly out of spite. He can be a real stickler sometimes.

Yup that it the stuff. It comes in Red, Orange and Purple ratings. I can't remember off the top of my head which one does what.
