Hi I have recently stripped 3 savage 25 spur gears looking at getting a metal one it's standard 49 tooth 18 clutch bell will all savage x 4.6 and that lot fit savage 25 along as there 54 or 49 tooth thanks

The problem isn't with the plastic gears. The problem is your mesh is off.

Use the paper method. Get a thin strip of paper, set your mesh, and run the paper through it. If it easily runs between the pinion and sour and looks like a crinkled French fry, then your good to go. If it passes through too easily, o is extremely tough to pass, then your mesh is off.

Okays thanks dude I think I tightened the spur gear bolt witch would do the clutch slipper to tight but what savage spur gears would fit like would a savage 4.6 and xl and that all fit the savage 25 thanks
