Above and beyond the CyberMaxx conversion I see a custom Battery tray and switch and Cool Springs.
(Who Makes Them?).

I also see a custom weld on the cage, Why didn't I get one with mine? Are you saving all the good stuff for yourself?

Ha, good eyes! The weld is there because apparently I'm the only one in the world who fatigue-cracks cages at the notch.

There are at least two problems with the stock tank: They crack all the time, and in the Cyber kit it is rotated 180° from normal, so the pickup is at the front of the tank. This causes the engine to go lean under acceleration, when it is below 1/2 full. You never noticed this undocumented feature of the Cyber kit?

These are all top secret projects Eddy, so I have to kill you now. Is that a problem?

Here is a closer look at the gear.

It is a 50 tooth, 1 module metric pitch, the same as 1/8 buggies. I am using an ofna cltuch and 15 tooth bell, for the same ratio as 72/22. The gear is O-1 tool steel, the same quality steel as a drill bit. It has 14 tanks of fuel with no wear, by far the most up-time I have ever had from a gear.

Plus it is 1/8" wide, again like a buggy, so chassis flex doesn't kill it anymore.

Yes! Its low volume stuff that the bean counters arent real fond of, but it sure is fun. We hit a dead end on the progressive springs, but everything else will be for sale at least by RCX in May.

Nope never happen with mine..

I just use it for All my misc. junk right now. I'm in the middle of transfering all my www.cecoatings.com stuff to 1and1 with a premier accoount so I dono if thats a Diff or not.

FSTFBDY,
You did mention you have another set of tires for the rear, but you didn't mention another set of paddles for the front. Its not a good idea to run 2 separate tire sets at the same time. Its one of the worse things you can do to your drive train. Even a small difference in diameter will eat it up fast. FYI.

the front tires i have work fine for my s-maxx and the rears work really well. i also did not have enough at the time to buy fronts. and also guys, i tried a 64t spur on my truck, and i clocked it at 51 mph. it really cuts out of the low end though.
