Once I get my spray system set up I have a LOT of work to do. I have 3 lids and 2 of them need paint colors that I'm out of.
Last night I was picking out Alclad paints from Nitro Hobbies and found that they wanted $4.95 to ship a 1 oz. bottle of paint that cost $4.29.
On an order of almost 100 buck in supplies it would have been about 70 to ship.
Who sells Alclad that's not a thief?

I don't know the answer to this but I am curious. Have there been any new regulations put in recently about shipping paints, or the chemicals that are in the paints to cause the high shipping rate? I've seen this happen before with other items that would seem innocuous enough but it does happen.

I don't think that had anything to do with it. I didn't see anything about combined shipping, either. Everything I ordered would have fit in the $8 post office priority box.

Anyway, right after writing the first post here I took off for HobbyTown USA. I haven't been there in a few months so it was time to stop in and say hello, anyway. I got exactly what I needed. Some Pactra and some Alclad, and with everything I got for $150 I supported my local hobby shop.
