Aftermarket Shocks 4 HPi RS4 3

Sup Fellas

I have a Hpi RS4 3 that I'm planning on racing this spring and am getting her rdy for race day.

I was wondering if it is worthwhile upgrading the stock shocks to an aftermarket set and if so what manufacturer would u recommend??

So far i have been eyeing the threaded GPM shocks, does anyone out there use these? and what are the gains from them?

Any and all feedback is appreciated

Thx in Advance

I have the gpm threaded shocks. And so far, I like them. But honestly I dont see a big difference in them between the threaded hpi ones. Execpt for the fact that the hpi ones are a lot more expensive. The quality of the shock seems to be good. It took me running into a side walk at full speed to crack one. Other than that, I have banged them up quite a bit and they still hold up well. I think aslong as you got the right oil and spring on the shock, theyll do fine.
