Have you guys used this yet? Its the stock steering servo out of the XL I am thinking about getting it for my x and using the SF-2 for my throttle/brake servo. Here are the specs on it Vs. the SF-2

SF-5...

designed to prevent incorrect connection.
Futaba J receiver plug

This is all i can find one the SF-2...

70 oz/in .20 sec @ 4.8V or 90 oz/in .16 sec @6V

not compared to 90oz lol and they go on ebay real cheap from the chop shops.

Give HPI time, and I'm sure they'll offer an upgraded gear package... For the price, I'd say that's a good upgrade for the savage.

the stats you listed for teh SF5 dont make sense. Its says 314oz/in but it also says 8.9kg/cm. 8.9kg/cm is only 123oz/in not 314/in. A better upgrade that wont break the bank is the SF50. Its 166on/in and its a stock part for the a bunch of HPI's models now so its cheap. And it already has metal gears.
