well on my TT TS4N the throttle servo works fine but the steering, it only moves about 2mm to each side. anything i can do? and are there any online shops that do TT parts?

Check all your transmitter settings to make sure that is not the problem.
If this a 1/10th or 1/8th scale vehicle pretty much any standard size servo should fit.

transmitter settings? all mine is is a grey box and 3 slots and i have them in the right places.

No the transmitter is the remote, you are talking about the receiver.
Also take the steering servo loose from the linkage and see if the steering assembly turns left to right freely. If not something is in a bind.
Sometimes the screw that secure the arm to the servo itself can be tooo tight and cause the servo saver to bind.
Let me know what you figure out.

oh right. the trim is it? for the steering is in the middle and i found out what it was, the sevo was a little too tight like you said, there a bit on the chassis on the left where the servo connects to, that was really loose and my crossmember (the front bar) was broken.
