I'm fixing up an old Original RC10 and the speed control wigs out when the steering servo is used. I changed the servo and still does it, unplug the servo from the receiver and it works perfect. it has a tekin receiver that was really bad so put a futaba receiver in and it is 90% better but still does it a bit,the radio system is AM band. Any sugestions ?

I was just having a similar problem, but I changed the servo and that cured it. When I had my brushless stampede, I had to wrap the receiver with foil to help with the interference until I switched to an FM setup. A antistatic bag ( the stuff pc parts come in) will also help, or an aluminum receiver box. These are a few cheap things that have helped some people in the past. There was a big threat on this on another forum.

Thanks for the tip. I will try the static bag as I work for a PC company, and see if it helps. Can you just buy FM crystals and switch them out ? or does the transmitter and receiver have to be FM as well ?
