i took apart my servo cause it had a miss in it, so i looked and 1 of the teeth broke, so i rotated the gear(now the servo works great) but when i took it all apart, and turned it on, the main gear was spinning all the time, but not at full speed. is this normal?? (by the way, this has no affect on the performence of the servo)

I'm pretty sure thats normal. I've done the same thing and haven't killed a servo yet. Well at least not that way.

do u mean you have broken teeth, and fixed it that way??

If teeth are broken I would replace the gears, if its a steering servo I would swap it out to something with metal gears. I've tried rotating and it didn't work for me.
