i know about LMT and LMT mini (might actually pick up a mini at some point) but i figured Losi just got the rights to put Digger bodies on the truck so it would sell. i didn't know the agreement (partnership ?) had anything to do with Losi advertising in Monster Jam. and last i had checked (it's been a while) traxxas had exclusivity rights to the series. so i was kinda shocked.

the "new" LMT is just going be the old LMT with new/different electronics. id bet money on it. maybe a couple durability upgrades at best. or some stupid driving aid gimmick.

i know wHorizon's been dumping money into NASCAR. that started long before they released the Losi NASCAR's.

I'm trying to talk myself into getting a roller lmt off the bay and throwing a body on to tribute this madman

They're stupid if they don't do Dennis Anderson and Gravedigger's biggest rival. Tom Meents in Maximum Destruction.
Max D might not be a thing anymore. Tom retired i think last year and i think owned the truck.
i could see them doing Monster Mutt or El Toro Loco, maybe Blue Thunder sense it's been around so long. sense Feld Entertainment owns them and they're pretty basic bodies with some add ons. problem they're going to face is all the dumbass non truck 3D bodies they use nowadays can't easily/cheaply be made in lexan.

That doesn't matter obviously. Dennis Anderson retired in 2017, and the LMT Diggers didn't come out til 2020.

Any long time fan of Monster Jam, from the beginning, would recognize the next logical truck would be the Max-D. But everyone has their favs. Those were both the most popular back then though, as it was either one or the other winning nearly every event. At least when Dennis and Tom were driving them.

fun fact about the Grave Digger. Dennis doesn't own it anymore, he sold the rights back in 1999. Feld Entertainment owns it now.

I'm old school. i want trucks from the old TNT days. i want to hear Army Armstrong's voice in my head while I'm driving
I watched the first televised race with Bigfoot and USA-1. I've been a fan ever since. They only went like 5mph over uncrushed cars, but they were so cool. It's crazy how they have changed over the years.
