ok my friend got a new 2.5r for his t-maxx and its been thru about 10 tanks already and this things has compression like if it was new and yes it was broken in properly , is this normal ??????

10 tanks isn't much. At 10 tanks, your just at the point where the mechanical pinch is starting to wear down some.

Take out the glow plug and rotate the engine over cold. If you had done that when it was brand new, you would have a better idea as to how much it's really worn down.

Properly tuned and heat cycled, an engine will give you a bit of bind when cold for a very long time (gallons if it's a good engine). The thing is, when the engine gets up to operating temps (210F+), the sleeve expands and the bind releases but still is close fitting enough to give you good compression.
