Selling a home, FSBO, questions

Ok, once again I'm turning to the experts and want to know if any of you guys have sold a home on your own? No realtor just a for sale by owner type of situation or maybe even a service such as Assist 2 Sell. We do not need to sell our house so time isn't an issue, we're just ready to move. I'd rather not have to pay 6-7% to sell a house when in reality the realtor doesn't do enough to earn that kind of cabbage. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have found in the past it is just easier to just pay the commission.Then try to figure out all the paper work..

try foxtons....they charge about 2-3% fee. thats the cheapest I've seen.

In conversations I've had with them, the key is getting on the MLS.
