i have a revo with a p3-28 in it and so far i have replaced almost the whole truck. i was jumping it with i-hate-traxxas and we broke the front bulkhead by hitting a tree, but not that hard hand pins. i am debating weather to part it out, or fix the bulkhead and pins and just try to keep better control of it. this is the second time the bulkhead has broken. Does anyone make a better bulkhead?

You're not going to get anything out of it by selling it compared to what you put into it. I would reccomend fixing the bulkhead. I wouldn't get too upset with the truck. It would be different if you were putting around in the front yard and the bulkhead exploded for no reason. But these RC's are desinged with fracture points to prevent major damage, and you did hit a tree after all. I would get yourself some good bulkheads and get back at it.

yeah but thats true but the whole truck has basically been replaced and its basically destructing itself from the power and i really dont want to have to keep spending all this money on the same truck.

What are you actually breaking? The plastic bits or the aluminum brace that holds the pins?

What are you running for arms?

I ran my revo like an idiot for a long time and never busted anything to do with the bulkhead. Busted shocks and arms (RPM as well), but never the bulks.

i've broken a-arms ( using rpm all around with true track system) slipper clutch plate, knuckles, pushrods, tierods, axles, clutch, front skid, front bulk, pin in the output gear in the trany( using forward only) cracked the old chassis, diff cups, mufflers, body mounts, bumpers, bumper mounts, center aluminum skid, roll bar stripped, and other misc stuff, I've put over a grand in the truck.

i think i will keep it and just wont jump it and run it soo hard, i guesse thats why i just got a savy.

Yeah, I busted most of that junk too, just never the bulkhead or the plate that holds the pins. The only time I ever saw the diffs was when I tore the chassis apart to install them on a 3.3 chassis after cracking the engine bay and tweaking the front kick up.

It's sounds like you've been bashing the hell out of your rig. I think even a Savage would need some parts replaced when driven that hard. Basically, there's two options. Keep bashing the snot out of it because its fun and spend a lot of money, or drive a little more sensibly and have the truck hold up better.

my wheels we're wobling once and i took off up the road and it flew off and my revo spun out of control and almost got hit by a truck i got lucky it was jacked up and went between the wheels

sry guys tht was supposed to go in another thread

its kinda wierd though cause i really dont beat my truck that hard, i mean I've seen peolpe beat revos way harder and not have problems, i mainley break the stuff while just being on the track, or just running it in my backyard, the bulkheads have been from some pretty hard bashing.

i just got a savage so the revo bashing days are over.
