I sealed my MGT 8.0 engine and my Pro .15 and what a difference. Used blue rtv sealant and green slime to seal it. I've only sealed these two because these were giving me issues. Once my K5.9 gives me trouble I'll seal that one too. So far the two OS engines I have and the Gs engine I have are fine. Just wanted to say thank you to the RCNT community for really stressing this in all the posts that state an engine is running lean.

Go ahead and seal them all. Think of it as preventative maintenance on the engines like ARO.

I'm kinda afraid to pull my OS 12cvrx out of my nitro rs42 because those screws have not been out in years and are loctited. However the next time I pull the k5.9 out for cleaning I'll seal that one up. I must be one of the few that has a K5.9 and it runs awesome. I'm also a firm believer in after run oil. What's even cheaper is buy a quart of marvel mystery oil and a 250cc fuel bottle and apply it using the bottle. I'm still on the same quart from 2 years ago.
