Scx10ii gearing recommendations

I have a castle creations 2280kv slate Moter and copperhead 10esc looking for gearing help the gearing I have now seems way too fast even on 2s

17t pinion and 56t spur

The lowest pinion and a 2 speed tranny in low would be a good start.

I’m just trying to keep it simple as I can.

change out that motor then drop pinion down many teeth..I dont think any gear reduction on that motor will give you a crawlers speed.

Well stick the smallest pinion that fits in there.

It's been a few years but castle has a castle link. The copperhead only use the pc one while the others can use pc or field card.

Maybe you can alter something in the settings?

The copperhead esc can use the b link Bluetooth cable
