While waiting on some parts for my Optic, I figured I would get started on my SCX10 Pro kit. This axle setup is definitely different. When it comes to the part where I attach the c-hubs to the axle, there is 2 hole options. I can't find any info on this and the online pictures and manual only show 1 hole. Is this the way it is or do i have 2 holes in the wrong spot? I feel like there should be 1 hole right in the middle where the 2 holes are. Feel free to tell me if I'm overthinking this!

That's what I thought. I even though it may have been an extra tuning option. I guess I'll send horizon an email.
If I had to guess, the machine making it failed to eject it out of the collet, and it machined it twice. Look for any dimples in the finish, like maybe some metal shavings got wrapped up on it during the pickoff sequence where a second spindle comes over and grabs it. That happens from time to time.

The Chinese may have gotten better at machining over the past 20 years, but it seems their quality control still sucks.
Oh yeah... I've gotten bad parts from just about every major brand out there that I have used. At least customer service has been great. I'm not going to bother with Horizon. I purchased this from Amain Hobbies, so I sent them an email. Their customer service has been spot on for me.

Yeah, Amain CS is great. Although, I have had good luck with Horizon as well.

I just sent the email last night. I'm sure they will respond at some point today.
I still have an order I need to ship back to them. A package I ordered before Christmas seemed lost for about a week, and I contacted them about it and they immediately shipped out a replacement order. The lost package eventually showed up, so I need to return this replacement package.

they changed their return address to MY house, js

The print could be wrong and holes correct. Two mounting positions allows you to clock the c hubs for optimal performance. It's often referred to a King Pin Inclination. I'm assuming this is the front axle.

To have adjustable king pin inclination, you can either mod the axle housing or the C hub. Vanquish mods the c hub as you can see here:

If your replacement parts have this same two-hole thing, then it's for that. It would be odd to replicate the error on both sides. If not, then something did get goofed up. Rarely are RC company prints 100% accurate.

While it could be a machining error, the threads look to be true to the hole, so it doesn't strike me as an error. Could be though. Programming these machines is rather easy now. Solidcam makes short work of it. We have 5 3-axis cnc lathes with bar feeders. My engineers will fuss about all the blood, sweat, and tears on the programming, but we've dropped in new machining programs and had proof parts 10 minutes later. I think they just like giving me a hard time.
