screw ups

my latest..
cleaned all my airfilters and set aside.
went to track and grabbed the ONLY filter i did not oil.
ran about 8 tanks on a very dusty track.
got truck home after last tank didnt run so well....
you got it..
coat about 2mm thick of oily dust on the inside of the carb throat... killed one HB 26 stock motor for the lighting

installing a new K46 motor in it now...

runnin my old HPI MT 2 when i noticed a drop in power and the body shell was cracking !!!! OMG the F*****G cars on fire !!!! 2 mins l8er cars out but in a sorry state and i still dnt hav a clue how the fire started ??? well sold it 4 £130 and the lad repared it and raced it happily 4 six months just bout it bak 4 £30 !!!!! it runs sweeeet !!

Well, I had a bunch of stupid today. Maybe just bad luck.... :shrug:
Loaded up Rustler, Savage and Mammoth.

Got the Savage out, no rotostart, back to the house (3miles is all) Tried again, flooded it. No glow plug wrench! Rotostart battery dead!

Get out the Mammoth. Crank & crank on that bastard. Maybe my small glow driver is dead? Got my flight box! Needle won't move. Battery dead? Got a set of jumper cables in the truck and the plug I use to charge it! Still nothing... Get out the Rustler. Needle on flight box works! Try the Mammoth again, nothing. Glow plug bad! I've got one.... Don't have a f....ing wrench!!!

Get the Rustler and finally get something running. About 30 seconds later, it won't move!! Had problems with a axle popping off. Replaced one. Now the other is messed up!

Well, I loaded everything back up, went to the house, and put a glow plug in the Mammoth. I did get 4 tanks through it before it got dark.

Dumbest thing I ever did in the Rc game was probably buying a Traxxas 4 tec. Luckily it got stolen though. I do feel kinda guilty for the guy stealing it though. Poor basterd.

last night went to shoot some after run oil into my brand new os18 tm and took off the cap tilted the bottle the relized! thats not after run oil its LOCKTIGHT!
thankfully i cought my screwup before any got in the engine
