I love that it's mostly hand crafted. Looks killer, oddly I think that metal windscreen looks better than clear would have, truly a perfect mistake. The cockpit trim sets it off nicely too. Can't wait to see her finished up and then her first run. 😍

Thanks for your comments guys, it keeps me going!
I must try to get some video of it when I get it running, I’ve used the engine before and it seems OK so fingers crossed.

I was pleased with the cockpit trim and by the time the thing gets plastered with fuel/exhaust I think the metal screen might be easier to keep looking tidy.

Bro! I’ve skimmed over the first few but I’m totally invested in this build! That old Indy car look is wicked cool! Can wait to see her run. Great job on this. Wow

Yes I guess the styling of 50’s Indy cars have a lot in common with the European F1 cars of that eara. If anything the Indy cars have a bit more scope for decoration/ graphics

We have wheels, batteries charged and ready to give it a go.

Right, I know I've taken a long time to get some video of my new nitro tethered car, but here it is, my missus came along to track to day and offered to take a short video.

On a positive note the experiment to use in-line skate wheels worked OK, at least they didn't explode.

Track was wet so I was getting wheel spin at part throttle, also had a fun spin at the start.

There you are!

New subber. So cool to see that one motoring around the track man.

Merry Christmas all, have a great day
Oh hey. I meant to tell you, change your YT vids to "not made for kids". Then folks can comment and be notified when you update stuff.
