Does anyone know how to get ANY parts from schumacher in the US or from a source in english? Or Has anyone ever even heard of this vehicle? I dont have the actual Big 6, its a japanese knock off made by "Rally Sport" and i can't find ANYTHING for this car!! They're almost identical makes.. If you google "Lotus Elise Rc" its the black and yellow car shown.. I got the car in a trade and its like brand new but something in the rear end is fried!!! Somebody PLEASE help me!! A rear end from a different car would be nice if it's anything close.... Any ideas? I dont wanna see this car just sittin on my shelf for the rest of its life....

It has one of those goofy belt driven Diffs. in it that i took apart and greased up real nice.. Everything operates fine, it will start and idle just fine.. When you give it a tiny bit of gas it does go about 2 MPH, after that if you give it any more throtle it just slips.. I want to try and replace the whole rear end with one that i can get parts for even if i have to mod. the car.. Thanks for lookin!!

Is the diff a ball-type diff? If it is, you might only need to tighten it up to run and not need a new diff.

I Believe it is a ball type diff. but what needs tightening? The long screw that goes into one side of the drive knuckel?

take the dog bones out of the drive cups and look down in one. there should be a hex drive screw in there.

Ok, now were gettin somewhere.. One side has a phillips head screw thats pretty long and the other side has an allen screw but it's pretty small, almost like a set screw.. Should i tighten them both all the way or how far out from bottom should i be? Thanks a ton for takin a little time to help out!! MUCH APPRECIATED to all!!

You have to adjust ball diffs a little bit at a time. It probably won't take a whole lot of tightening to get you going again.

the screw to tighten is inside the diff cup. it passes through the center, and is held by a captured nylon nut on the other side.
