There used to be a Jack in the crack here lol, they all went out of business. And there is a Waffle house. Mc Donalds runs this town lol we have 5 in the town I live in and all are less than 10 miles from my house! One I can walk about 2 blocks and I'm there aaaggggggg. Is the Waffle House in OH a real Waffle House or one of those imitation ones? There's two different waffle house restaurants here around Indy but neither is the same or is part of the redneck chain of slop. Talk about terrible, wouldn't feed it to my dog.
Now mentioning In N Out, nothing better, IMO. You west coast guys are so damn lucky! We have a place on the northside of Indy that is pretty close but not quite there. It satisfies my fix though in between my CA/NV trips.

No I understand and know what the Breakfast club is, but whats that have to do with the midwest? I'm lost..lol
And we only have Mcd's. Burgerking, wendys, arbys, dairy queen and a few others, No jack in the box or sonic or anything else like that either..

Breakfast Club took place at Shermer High School, Shermer, IL. A fictional place of course but I think it may have actually be Schaumburg, IL and High School.

We had Jack in the Box years ago in Chicago but they went tits up. Had to have been over 25 years ago. They tried to open a bunch of Sonics here in Indy about 2 summers ago and they flopped. Having been to several throughout the southeast US I can attest it just didn't seem like the same partially hydrogenated milk byproducts. I think all but 2 of the twelve that opened closed. We are the home of Steak n Shake though, AKA "Choke and Puke"
