Here's the story. My wife wanted to get a series of an old show, Party Of Five. Only the first three seasons were officially released on DVD, so she did a search on the internet, and was happy when she had found that somebody had it recorded. So she bought the set about a week or so before Christmas, and never got it. After emailing a few times, and not getting any replies, she did a little research. She found that it was a scam. What she found out, it that IF you do get the DVDs, they'll be either all scratched up, broken, or missing parts. They will also repeatedly charge you. So she had the card that she used canceled, and luckily for her, the bank was able to get her money back, although I think the bank refunded her through a fraud protection program.

Now we also found out another friend had this happen as well. He got the DVDs he ordered, minus one season. All the DVDs that he did get were scratched badly, though he brought them to a resurfacing place and they were at least watchable after that. They actually have a Customer Service, somebody who is apparently very nice, and willing to say just about anything to make you believe you will get your problem resolved.

The FBI is investigating them, however they are based in Canada with a Miami, FL front.

Watch out for these sites, and there are many others that I don't know of yet.
